    PCI Graded Coins

I know this is an old thread but I just purchased a 2001-S PR70 Sacagawea Coin graded by PCI (Green Label). So in reality, what do you think its really worth?? Thanks!

Cave troll, i really don't know about that. If PCI graded it 70, PCGS or NGC would have probibly graded it 68 or 69.

yeah i agree, but its always a possability that i could be somthing actually nice but probly not much of one, i dont even know how much those would be worth in 70 i might think they would not be worth a whole lot even if it was graded by NGC or pcgs.

I will not buy a PCI if there are other choices.

As for the top 3 slabbers I have noticed that almost all high end priced coins are graded correct. to much money involved

And even if they did, it wouldn't be worth any more than a raw example. Which was his point.

All of this is exactly why I have no slabbed coins. I break out all slabbed coins, put them in an album, throw out the plastic stuff. I want my albums to look nice and be the best they can be. But I will never go nuts wondering if a coin is MS-62, 3, 4, 5, etc. And I don't have to worry if it was a PCGS, NGC, PCI, etc since there no longer is a tag. I used to save the tags but then I said to myself, SELF, what are you doing and threw them away. I'm to old to wonder what effect that will have in the future. I'm a coin collector, not a plastic collector. Just the opinion of an old coin collector.
