Nice list. I would probably replace the Stone Mt with the Buffalo nickel, but very similar to yours. I do not even collect US coins any more but will buy a nice Oregon Trail at times just to own another one.

    1. Walking Liberty (half, not ASE - the reverse lacks something)
    2. Buffalo Nickel
    3. For "story" reasons, not the design - the California Pacific International Exposition (San Diego) commem half.

I can't easily rank these, so here are my top three in no particular order:
    1) Wheat Cent
    2) Capped Bust, especially the eagle on the reverse
    3) I guess I lied about being able to pick my top three. There's too many other really good designs for me to pick just one!

Thanks! I have a personal connection to the Stone Mountain. Stonewall Jackson is my great-great uncle.

Then our relatives might have shared the same dirt. My great grandfather was in the Civil War serving in an Iowa regiment. Yeah, different sides, but still. :)

I'd bet that if they were standing on opposite banks of a river at Christmastime, they probably would have saluted one another.

  21. I can list my number one. Barber half dollars. Anything after that is a toss up. There are so many great designs out there, world and domestic that I really couldn't rank the rest.
