There was never anything magical about 10 and from early on there were multiple lists (such as budget and specialty). Knowing that I will go out on a limb here and say it is pretty clear that Doug’s comments were not directed disparagingly at Donna’s lists which always include relative ranking and commentary. I think the idea is that not considering and explaining why you like some coins best is a deviation from the original tradition.</p><p><br /></p><p>To be clear I like the posts of coin purchases with or without commentary or ranking.&nbsp; I love seeing everyone’s coin purchases for the year. There have been some year end threads with virtual trays, multiple collages and all kind of fun stuff outside of the norm. Love it! However, I do enjoy lists ranked by favorite the most. I think there is a lot to be learned by that exercise.
