That's a truly excellent selection of medieval coins! I think this is the best portrait of Henry I I ever saw, and the Henry VII groat is fantastic. And though I'm fascinated by the Viking St. Edmund penny, my number one favorite would be the Beornwulf. What a rarity!

Nap, I know virtually nothing about medieval coinage but enjoy looking at them, especially the coins with bizarre artwork like your first two coins . I'm glad you posted the painting of James III, the portrait on the Scottish groat is very true to the painting ! The poor guy looks like a real twit .
