opinions on the colors? looks more dark orange/red in hand, yet with light, exhibits tons of luster and color! (some pastel blues and greens moving towards 5 o'clock) tough to find nice Philly mint '79 toners, got a good deal on this one (erased the price sticker)...
Decent and almost full coverage but the colors are muted and dont add too much eye appeal. It should garner a slight premium but not much, maybe 50% over blast. What's the rev look like?
beauty is in the eye of the beholder. there will always be someone out there looking for this color. it does not do much for me, but there will be someone else liking it.
agreed on toned Morgans, I tend to prefer the reds, oranges, and yellows, as well as a bit of the blues... I'm not so gung-ho about the greens and purples, although they seem to be the favorite for many toned Morgan collectors.
some say green is the rarest color toning. I am not sure about that, but they sure get a lot money. I prefer rainbow toning or iridescent light gold to orange to gun metal blue dark blue.
