It goes from the field up and over the letters, numerals and Kennedy's hair. Again the colors look like they were painted on with a color going from the field and across the higher elements. The toning even goes up onto the rim as the same color. The color sequence appears to be out of order. The cobalt blue looks very unnatural. And what's with the untoned wedge? I'm guessing the coin doctor thought a sucker somewhere would like "dramatic" effect. </p><p> </p><p>Take a close look at this untoned area. It looks to me that the luster is impaired.
