Knees are terrible but at least my left one, the one that was done today, was easy. Nothing like walking through your house with a cane.

Darn. I caught this post too late. You're already done and at home being cared for. If there is a next time, let us know in advance so we can talk bad about you while you're gone. LOL Really, glad you got it done without any problems. After reading all of the posts, I guess I'm really lucky that at 74 I've never had joint problems, except a little arthritis.

 

Glad you're OK. Some surgeries are so boring that you sleep right through it, missing all the action.

 

It's not just the drugs. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

Your time is coming! Hahaha Just joking and glad you're not having joint problems. I do ask myself, why am I the only one in the family that has had this problem?

 

Then this was boring. Lol They had a difficult time waking me up afterwards.

Just woke up from my third nap. Still dazed but my wife says the doctor is really pleased. All bad spots were taken care of. He felt my knee looked better than on film. I'm able to get around the house with my cane. I can't complain. I am surprised but very sleepy and dopey. (More than usual.) lol Tomorrow will be better I'm sure.

 

They kept my mother-in-law over night. When she came out of surgery she was still asleep but when she woke up she was so out of it. I just told her that her sex change was a success!!she is a beautiful man now!! She said ok and went back to sleep. Wife and I just laughed!!

 

Sounds like me butbno sex change. I'm always out of it for a day, more or less.

 

Just woke up. My knee is really tight this morning. Hopefully it will loosen as the day goes on.

Not hardly. On my way to the 2nd pain pill of the day. It's warm but I'm cold. My wife just took off the wrapping and put on 2 bandaids. I'm surprised how swollen my knee is and how stiff I am. I'm doing whstvthe doctor said to do but it's tough. It really hurts.

 

How long is the cut?? My mothernlaws was about 10 inches. And a 1” below that were they used a robot for cutting

 

Sounds like my right knee. My left knee is the current problem. I only have 2 small incisions, like 1 stitch each to close them. Stiff as a board this afternoon and an awful lot of pain.
