Tomorrow's The Day

i just received a call from my doctors and I need to be at the hospital at 5:15 am. I'm not even up for the bathroom that early since I'm retired. It's not a long surgery so I should be home in the am. I'll probably walk as well then as I do now.

I'm going to miss the Baltimore show and a rock show this weekend. It goes to show that you can't have it all.

Not sure if I'll be in touch tomorrow afternoon or not. If I am and blow it just correct me. I'll see and understand.

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. I'm sure all will be well and next year will be much better. If you never hear from me again then you'll know things didn't turn out to good. Just kidding. I had to get it in you know. I couldn't resist.

Prayers are up my friend. Make sure to do lots of posts while you are on pain drugs. That’s what I did. It’s funny to go back and read what I thought sounded normal while in an opiate haze.

 

Take care, and, more importantly, tell your surgeon to take care.

Haha, I'm the first in the OR, 7:00 am. I need to be at the hospital at 5:00 am. That hour is not part of my routine.

 

It's a good hour to catch a surgeon though. Early and fresh...relatively speaking. Sounds like it's not a long procedure which is good. The longer you are under the harder the recovery from the anesthetic.

I can well imagine. I'll get pain pills but at least the surgery is orthoscopic. It's the least invasive.
