Playcurrency Tokens Currency Tokens Currency tokens are tokens, but also either have acted as business coins or are meant to act as business coins, hence they also known as token coins. Currency tokens historically have primarily been issued when business coins were too few in availability in any particular area; and they always carried a denominational value, like a business coin; and were accepted by any business in the area, like a business coin. Governments often suppressed them; but when needed, they were always in use. Currency tokens also appear in the present times for people who propose that currency should have a precious-metal base, and can act as business coins as well. Business Tokens Business tokens are tokens that only circulate within the business district. Business tokens are issued by any business, to anyone willing to do some or a lot of business with them, so the business can either save actual money for other purposes or ensure repeat business. There are many kinds of business tokens issued from stores, taverns, gaming centers, transportation services & public facilities, just to name a few for this purpose, and many of these carry the term: “good for”. Other business tokens are issued in prisons, where actual money is not allowed. Also, some business tokens were issued to loyal customers as credit, which became the ancestors of credit cards. Facilitation Tokens As the name suggests, facilitation tokens are tokens, meant to ease any kind of business transaction. Some facilitation tokens have been issued by jurisdictional governments, to either act where actual money was difficult to use or to act as a substitute for actual money, such as those for sales tax, parking, telephone use, etc. Others were privately issued and were used as catalysts during business though were not directly involved in the transaction, such as counting-piece jetons and bullion-weight pieces. Facilitation tokens historically were common in usage, but are rarely used in present times. Niceness Tokens Niceness tokens are considered personal-level tokens in which anyone gives another a token either for good will or as an appreciative “payment”. As the name suggests, any form of niceness is always involved, with niceness tokens. Love tokens good-luck tokens are niceness tokens given for either love or good will; and kindness tokens are niceness tokens given as a payment for good will, but also given to promote more good will. Though not commonly found or used (unfortunately), niceness tokens have historically been present, and still continue in present times. Playcurrency Tokens Playcurrency tokens are tokens, issued for young children, to be used as money; hence, they are also known as “play money” in general. The role of playcurrency tokens is primarily used to educate children in monetary usage; and often young children play together with these playcurrency tokens, performing either play or actual business transactions among each other. Another use for playcurrency tokens has been for dollhouses, where the dolls are acted to use the tokens as money. Playcurrency tokens became commonly used in recent historical times up to the present.
