    A kneaded eraser works perfect. Ive used it in the past. Does not leave scratch marks or whiten the area, only picks up the lead. If the impression mark was deep it might remain lighty.

    The lead markings on my bill seem light enough. I bet it would work. I've been so busy lately I haven't gotten around to seeing what I could do about that mark. But when the time comes for me to decide what exactly to do, I am going to search all of your ideas up and see which one is the most efficient. Thanks for the sugguestion, nm1560.

    Don't do it!!! AWWW ummm ummm the writing was made by John F. Kennedy, yea that's the ticket! He umm worked at a bank when he was young, and back then phone numbers were very short. So that is a phone number of a hot brood called Ms. Petters that visited the bank that day, and you know Johnny he could never resist taking Ms. Petters and twins out on a date.
