Plus that gorgeous '63 and that sharp '56 from earlier. Plus a ton of quarters, but I'm more of a nickel guy.
I can only hope, one of my fellow coin jockeys finds that one. She's long gone from me. I didn't even notice the mint mark on the front like that. I really am brand new at all this. Probably looking like a total idiot. Lol
We all make our mistakes when it comes to currency collecting... I made a catastrophic mistake recently... I was taking pictures of my 1964 nickel (my profile pic) and I dropped my camera on the coin and scratched it... Before: After: And then I got curious: I've also found an inverted dollar bill in my youth... not realizing its value, I spent it... Granted I was 6, 7, or 8 at the time and wasn't collecting currency... I wish I'd never spent it but that's just my point... as people we make mistakes and when it comes to collecting, we just need to be careful with what we do
Can't agree more. I just hope i didn't chuck some valuable nickel. Not monetarily valuable, but historically valuable.
