Today's surprise.

    I when to visit my local coin dealer today. Mostly for a visit and to pay up for a coin a got last time I visited. Anyway long story short I came away with these bills. He literally took them out of his wallet and sold them to me.
    They are nothing special really just common older bills that are cool to have a specimen of.

    That's cool!
    I've never seen a red seal in real life. I've only managed to get one $1 silver cert from a teller about 5 years ago.

    I got a 2 dollar series 1963 in the mail today. I really like the depiction of Monticello.

    Sometimes money is money. I have had a few dealers use the older series bills as change and guess what he will get them back with a person saying they found a rare bill. (NOT).
