Hello Everyone I went to my local coin shop today with my dad @Eric the Red .This is what I picked up today. 1990 silver Canadian Maple leaf 1912-D Barber dime 1899 Barber half 1854 Seated liberty quarter
That makes it even better! It can be tough to get those older Maples at decent prices. I'm always on the lookout for them.
Those are some good pickups, for the most part, @AidenAlexander. However, I would not have purchased that Barber Dime. Judging by your photos, it appears to be heavily cleaned; I hope you did not pay too much for it.
How about now? it does look a little cleaned in the pictures but in person it looks normal. Opinions?
Without seeing your coin in hand I stand by my opinion that your Barber Dime has been harshly cleaned at some point.
I like that '12 Barber, but I suspect it had a tad of a 'rub a dub'. That's OK if it's good for you as it looks decently struck. I especially like the Canadian Maple Leaf as I'm mostly a 'modern' fellow.........
