I love getting Canadian Dollars, Swiss Francs, Brit. Pounds, Jap. 100 Yens for 10 cents a piece when they end up in these bins! I assume most coins that end up in these bins were a result of Americans taking a vacation over seas or even coins brought back from wars.
The coins I see the most are ones from the major countries of Western Europe. There are also many from the Caribbean and the rest of the Americas. Rarely do I see African coins, so I always buy them when I do. I see a fair share of Asian coins but don't often buy them because I don't know much about them, and when I can't read the year or the other information it's not as much fun. I don't see too many Middle Eastern coins either but don't buy them unless I can figure out what they are. I see a lot of older coins from England, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland and France, but for most other countries it's usually newer coins, mostly after the 1950s.
