It's worth a shot. You're competing with another 50,000 in 63 and 40,000 more in 64 (in PCGS slabs alone); you need all the help you can get. :)

My last gold CAC Morgan was a MS62 and auctioned for $105 or thereabouts. It looked like a 65. There are several gold CAC common Morgans on eBay, priced anywhere from $170-$250, but they've been listed for quite a while.

In any case, the coin is clearly better than a MS63.

I was only being half-facetious - Gold Beans make bidders all irrational & stuff. Definitely worth the shot, and it wouldn't floor me if you get it. :)

With my last one selling for around $105, It makes me wish I had just sent it back for regrade if indeed it WAS a 65. Would've sold for 150 or more if that had been the case. Made me think the gold cac mania had come to an end.

Nah. Like anything else, it's situational, the risk we all take when putting something up for auction in a specified timeframe. Will there, or will there not, happen to be appropriate buyers looking at that time?

The few times I had a gold beaner in my case at a coin show people were all over it. So if nothing else it attracts a lot of attention. But they're hard to get I've sent well over 100 coins to cac and never got a gold. Tho in this next batch I think there's a couple possible

I like the 1883-O dollar and think it's way undergraded. Of course, it's not worth all that much even in a 64 holder.
