    Star or no star, I think it's a fabulous coin. @Vess1 , if you should ever decide to part with this one, I'd sure like to have a shot at it. The one I posted earlier with the reverse toning and this one would make an excellent pair.

    And honestly graded. It seems to me way too many Morgans are over graded.

    I saved your pic Lehigh. You did better than I could with it. Thanks Buffalo. I loved it too. I got a few awesome toners from Lehigh a while back. I used one in my NGC registry type set. MS-65 with a mint green obverse. Just gorgeous.

    Yes, it does. NGC graded it 66, so the luster must be great in hand. I love the darker colors and think the star is appropriate.
