I was interested in a few gold coins.. I bought an 1895 Liberty Eagle Gold Coin (Raw), and a 1904 Liberty Double Eagle Gold Coin (also Raw). He had some other coins in NGC enclosures or whatever they're called and I thought they were neat so I asked him how I could get them graded. He took them to a Coin Show and had them graded. The Gold Eagle received MS61 and the Double Gold Eagle, UNC Details-Obverse Scratched. I never would have seen the scratches if I had not had them graded. I also bought a 2009 Ultra High Relief Gold Double Eagle that had already been PCGS graded-MS68. I thought that was pretty good until I got more familiar with coins. I have found the "Ignorance is Bliss". No more grades, unless I buy them graded.[/QUOTE]
