    “It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
    Signifying nothing.”

Well, perhaps, if lacking in sound and fury, I agree it is a tale told by an idiot…ignifying nothing…
But I thought it might be of interest to or amuse some of my CoinTalk friends.

The Head of our library told me this morning th
at she thinks I look like Constans II, Roman emperor (641–68). Gosh, I never considered that. Maybe, in my youth, but now? Then she wondered whether it might be a case of reincarnation. Constans was murdered in his bath in 668. Gee, is that why I always put off bathing?

The conversations we have when we can't have in person departmental meetings....

I think I managed to screw this post up. Tried to edit, but it does not come out satisfactorily. Will try to repost, but I apologize if this results in multiple attempts. See it really is a tale told by an idiot.

My wife often quotes extensively from Shakespeare - this among them - I am amazed at how much her mind holds. I can at least keep up with her in Homer and Vergil (we studied the same things), but I am woefully behind in Shakespeare.

If that's you in the picture then you have held up well against the ravages of time.
