Time Lapse video of a coin toning

    Cool, but I have so many questions. What was used to make the toning? How long did the actual process take? What does the whole coin look like now? What was the intent of the video?

    Good questions , but I imagine some type of sulfur gas in an enclosed area .

    I would call that a time lapse of heavy corrosion, not toning. For all I know, the edges were filed to expose the zinc and the coin embedded in a lemon.
