    From this picture, I don't see any reason to doubt it.

    At first glance it looks good, the only thing that looks unusual a little is the nose. You can see the face was double struck, that is not it, its just the carving of the nose that looks unusual to me. It is probably just me though.

    I noticed that... I also noticed that on ForumV that there were all sorts of strange looking noses on these...

    You are right, it could just be the double struck nature of the face, coupled with the not so great style of the nose, and the highlighting on it that just struck me wrong.

    Overall the coin looks fine to me. Is the weight in line for the issue?

    Its an expensive coin, as I am sure you are aware, due to so much biblical demand. Not rare, but if any ancient coin has non-ancient demand they get expensive due to limited numbers of them.

    I see nothing wrong. We see so many fakes of popular coins that we tend to go heavy with the disclaimers about not liking to say a coin is good just from a photo but this strikes me as OK.
