This is stalling out somewhat. A suggestion, if the thread is idle for 24 hours, skip a year or two and post.

Sounds good sir! There is no real rush & we could even give folks in far away time zones some additional hours to post. We've seen some great coins posted from all around the World so I'm personally going to wait a little longer & try not to jump around too much. (I don't have many more coins with dates on them anyway).

Here is the 1771 Mexico 8 Reales that I posted out of sequence last Monday. It was in an NGC holder so I'm confident it's real. The edge on this coin is far-out & a delight to hold.

    Next up is 1770.

Anyone have anything within a couple years of 1769, or close? Have a 1753, should we jump ahead?

I'm just a viewer now since this thread has gone far beyond what I collect. But as the founder, I vote to jump.

Cool Coin. In 1732, George Washington was born in Virginia (Now the state of Virginia USA).

Your "3 Pound Twelve" is really interesting to me. Is that 3 pounds plus 12 shillings? I don't get it. There were 12 Pennies in a Shilling and 20 Shillings in a Pound right? Help me Obiwan Kanobi, you are my only hope.

BTW, the 3 pence coins you have posed in this thread have been awesome. There was once a CT thread where we all posted our 3-pence coins. Your 1729 blows them all away.
