We had 1787, 1786, and 1785 then you came in and added 1788,1787,1773,1771 and 1761, its messed the sequence up, we are doing years not decades or centuries.
My bad. I thought folks were abandoning the 1 year at a time thing. I cannot edit/delete the three coins I posted out of turn. Apparently, we need someone to post a 1774 now.
Only 390 years left to go before I can participate with a coin. I love those young 1700s coins. They remind me of 2nd and 3rd century Imperial Roman coinage.
What date is Idhair's Washington cent? And are we giving up on several dates in the 1775-1785 range? Not that I want to try to referee this. I have a kind of scudzy 1774 I could post if we need it.
I got one in the 1600's. We would be missing 75 or, more years. I am really excited to see some ancients. Are we to an era that no one on here collects? Maybe every five years?
Wow , How to kill a good thread by posting random dated coins instead of each year backwards as requested by the OP. "Through the Years" not decades. Numismatists are supposed to be good at figures and maths
I could point out that the OP in post 325 said something about not going strictly year by year at some point. It seems like this thread is starting to struggle, really not many folks posting coins from this era, but if the OP and others want us to just be patient I'm fine with that. Where do we go from here? 1784?
