Curious what John Albanese at CAC will say. Funny that I love them even more now that PCGS graced them with those big grades. I think they were rewarded for their originality. But as you can see, PCGS didn't catch the order in time to fix the varieties on the JR-9's. So before they go to CAC, the first two have to go back to PCGS.
Made a video showing the 5 coins I had certified from this collection. I do not apologize for my heavy Southwest Virginia country boy accent.
So hard to say which one I like best....all are great coins, but that large cent is really, really nice. Great surfaces and detail.
Update on these. PCGS failed to catch the order in time to correct the variety attribution for the first two dimes, which both graded MS65+, but I decided to have them regraded while they were there and both upgraded to MS66. So, all three dimes are now MS66's.
I finally remembered the 6th coin I had bought from this collection. I forgot about it because it was in a PCGS order that got stuck for almost 2 months for some reason. But it finally cleared and graded today. MS62!
