Your lighting in the photo kinda hides the area you're talking about. Looks like a struck thru, probably, but please take another set of photos without the brightness in that 'UM' area. .....and a larger photo of at least half of the reverse.
No - and please try to orient the photos so that we don't have to turns our heads sideways. Still looks like a possible struck thru area. Anyone else ?
It does look like struck-through of sorts, but i find it odd that it follows the face edge of the die and does not show on the lip of the coin, makes it seem like die damage. Try using a black background and put a sheet of white paper between the coin and the light source. I have a hard time getting photos with reflective coins and use this on some.
