Can you get a partial image of the edge for comparison @ksparrow ?

sorry, it's in the bank. I was referencing the edge photo in my fake trade dollar thread.

I have a PCGS MS-63 for a type coin. I would love to get a Proof, but the prices have been too high. I sold a really nice Proof when I was a dealer for the going price at the time. I wish I had kept it.

If you buy a certified one, you should be okay.

Of the 4 Jack posted, the one at the top, the 76-s micro-s, is the most deceptive. the last 2, as noted, are easily outed by their T1 reverses.
Speaking of the coin in the OP, I am wondering if the skinny rims account for it being underweight; would be interesting to know the diameter and thickness when Jack has a chance to study it. I think this explains what bothers me about the edge reeding; there is no "bridging" by the rims at the ends of the reeds because the rims are so skimpy

@ksparrow , coin is in hand. Measures well under in diameter at 36.45 mm; thickness at 2.61 mm. I took some detail images as follows:

very interesting, Jack. If they hadn't blown it on the diameter it would be a very convincing fake. I see some "shelf doubling" on the dentils in the next to last photo, which I have not observed on genuine Trades. thanks!
