    @Lehigh96 Good choice! Here are the two 1942 proofs. For anyone unfamiliar with how the War Nickels were phased in, both versions were struck in 1942. One is nickel and the other is silver.

    Got in change at the beer store a few months ago. Weird, this thread popped a dream I had last night back into my head. The same store gave me several war nickels in change again, but like dreams are, I tried to look at them closely but couldn't and I got frustrated and woke up. Hmm, maybe it was a premonition and I should go back to that store and ask for all their nickels.
