When one shows they're serious along with a willingness to learn, most of the membership goes out of their way to help. This has been proven time and time again, but it's not the forum's responsibility to hold hands and play kid games. I'm genuinely sorry your seemingly sincere initial question was met with hostility, but you've also been here long enough to know this isn't the norm.

I specifically said that if you don't have nothing nice to say then don't say nothing at all for a reason and instead you literally wrote a book showing us just how cocky and arrogant you are . LOL . Infact when I looked back through the thread I didn't see "YOU" anywhere in there but once and even then you were ignored for a reason . I stopped offering sincere advice some time ago; why bother when the intended recipient is too much of a dolt to grasp the obvious, refuses to even consider it, or is incapable of making even the most minimal effort to do the very thing he claims to be so fond of? Recently, this has all been about hoping that you'll simply just open your eyes before too late. You see, I am foolish, and is evidenced by the fact that I have continued to hold hope for you. The thing is that, while you may not like my approach, you're also not giving me much to work with. Respect begets respect, and if you haven't yet noticed, I tend to follow your lead.

Perhaps you missed it, and to further the point; after one of your earlier screams for attention, a very wise gentleman offered some very solid advice...

This was a mod telling you this, and not just a peon member such as myself or the others. If you really just want to talk coins, please; let's do so, but also understand this is a two-way street, and few are likely to say only what you want to hear. Perhaps think of the one ATB quarter you posted, and ask yourself why it didn't turn into a mess while a vast majority of the others have. The fact is that for someone looking for assistance and supposedly trying to learn, you're off to a very bad start here, and have already turned a number of very knowledgeable members away from trying to help in the future. This hurts you and only you.

If it will contribute to ending the nonsense, I'll gladly apologize for everything said (aside from addressing the coins), but as said earlier, the ball is in your court.

 

I think that is a good suggestion by Books, I recommend it to be done, as some are getting close to a rule violation and it would prevent that.

This whole time the only thing that I've been talking about is showing Respect if you want Respect in return . And yes booksb4coins I didn't appreciate the way that you came off in the very beginning because as I'm sure you know ... you and a few others do come off as being very arrogant like a few other people have indicated to you which is why i guess you nor they have not once attempted to address those facts but rather choose to focus on other nonsense and some of you also obviously hope that by teaming up on the new comers it will hopefully not change the fact on how this is usually the case in forum . And that's what lead up to this discussion . Infact it doesn't matter who you are in the forum Respect is due even to a dog it doesn't matter how much knowledge you have or what position you hold . You shouldn't try to belittle new members with cocky responses it's as simple as that . And if a person don't have nothing nice to say then they shouldn't post anything in the forum . Call it thin skin or call it whatever you want that is the reason that a few of the other members on here felt the need to elaborate on my points about Respect and arrogance . So to answer you question Booksb4coins I agree an apology would put an end to the nonsense . And it would also show just how big of a person you really are and vice versa

Jim, I'm sorry. I hope none of my heated comments crossed the line. However, I am not a liar. If I said, "I'm sorry" I would be lying. I meant every word I said in all of my posts. I only came back to Cointalk recently to try to help out. If I did cross the line and am put on probation, or whatever the punishment may be, I'll take whatever comes my way. However, I will not put on a smiling face and apologize simply because some antagonist want to yell, "Victim!" That is what is crippling our country as we speak, and I will not be a part of it. I am sorry to any other members I may have upset. I let my emotions get the best of me yet again.

 

I will gladly apologize to the upstanding members of this forum for any disturbance to normal fourm operations that my part in this incident may have caused.

 

Apparently, you've decided to again ignore what was clearly said and offered to you. The promised apology was conditional, and since you obviously wish to continue with the diatribes, you will not be getting one, period.
