Ok I was going threw some coins well penny's with my magnifying glass and I came across this I'm hoping you see what I seen . U cannot see it just looking at the penny . Do you think it was put on there during the time it was being made ?
Welcome to CT. There are a few things it could be or it could just be damage. 1. Die chip - common with no added value 2. Plating blister depending if 82' or later mintage - again very common with no added value 3. Die clash - also common and in this case very minor with no added value If you collect, add it to your collection and keep on hunting! For future posts, full pics of front & back so we can see all of what is going on with the coin.

Yes I am I love the fact that very old coins or new stay around to tell story's my dad gave me a start but I look everywhere and check all coins and it's kind of a high . Especially when I go to the bank and crack a roll open lol you just never know what your gonna get .
Well you certainly have the bug. I love the history of the coins too. Do you have a Red Book? Do you want to focus on a certain series (Pennies, Nickels, etc.)?
