Right, they have that offer so much now, that I miss just when they do charge an insertion fee. But since the dude accepted 121 offers, and we don't know what they were, maybe he figures it as advertising expense ? Or maybe he does what some do, every time it's relisted the price gets raised ? Maybe it will be 25 million next listing ? lol

Then again, maybe it's more of a hobby than a business ? Insertion fees might be less than a new fishing lure or something ?

You could do that if you had the funds to cover it...or you could offer just a little bit less. Then when he accepts, say you found one for ten bucks less from another seller.

I think that he's trying to make a statement; what it is; I have no idea.

I do see a statement made by this ad, whether it's the intent of the listing or not I don't know. The statement is about eBay. How they allow any individual to use there medium, even in a absurd way. Their implied statement: We have this site, just pay us and you can do what ever you like. We will only react if someone else complains.

"Offer what you think is fair!"

He just wants the buyer to offer.

Marketing gimmick that draws interest, people make offers, he gets what he wants for the coins
