You are right Roy... Did not mean to get off track so much. While the topic surrounded paper money, I think we all learned something there on this thread wether it be right, wrong or indifferent!
and you are right on the "attorney" part.. I am a cell culture scientist!!!

    Regards to all......

I thought we were. Laws as applied to currency. The way you make it sound, it's as if we were chatting about random, unrelated law topics. But anyhow...
Yeah, that's actually where I started, aside form having some wheaties in an old jar. It started with a few foreign notes my dad would bring back from business trips. That's apparently evolved into roughly 500 or so foreign bank notes, mostly ones I like, from nearly every country. That led to colonials (have 20 or so of them, some really nice ones), to fractionals (less than 10 so far, only so much one can collect at one time), some obseletes and confederates, and then onto 1862 $1 legal tender, couple 1886 Marthas, one of each of the 1896 Educational series (plus an extra $1 as they're just too neat not to buy), a couple Black Eagles, $2 Silver Certs, 1902 $10, a 1907 Woodchopper, some of the 1914 series, 1917 $1 & $2, 1918 National, a few of the 1922 Gold Certs in better grades (I love this series but have yet to get anything over a $20), a bunch of the 1923 Silver Certs. in better grades (must stop buying these), random notes to 1934 then a $500, a bunch of $1000 notes (must stop buying these), and some random notes after that.

I should stop and finish my Dansco 7070 at least, not too many to go, but it's been that way for a year now heh. Latest idea was to put together a quarter set in a Dansco (one coin per state album) in Silver Proof. There's that one year where that $1.25 is going to cost me, but it should look nice when it's done.

I've gone from the point of having 50 heavily circulated foreign notes in a paper envelope to not knowing where or what I have though, so that's probably the time to slow down (note: not stop ;)). Did I mention I like Gold as well? I've had a bunch of foreign gold, and some $20 Liberties, but never managed to pick up a Guadens... should be arriving soon. Sad, I know.
