This coin just looked at me...

    It took some weeks, but yesterday the coin came in, 25 days in the post from the US to NL. Well, I've seen worse.

    It's just as nice and lovable as I hoped it to be. And to be precise: the weight is 0.52g, diameter 9 mm.

    Here it is, with its dotty companion.

    @Pellinore, another metaphor, given the season, might be the scrawny tree in the early feature-length cartoon, "A Charlie Brown Christmas." ...Except, along the lines of saying (as I did), 'If I could read Any of that, it would Pop. ...That tree got some love, and look what happened.
