    I have a new state quarter. You can clearly see the LIB in LIBERTY s definitely MESSED UP what do you guys think...

    Checking change is a good way to start, then. Everything you get is still worth what you paid for it, which is a lot more than I can say for most of my mistakes. :)

    Welcome to CT Bobby. Asking questions is a great way to learn. Checking pocket change and rolls from banks are also a good learning experience and it's at face value so it's cheap and it can be spent. If you can, buy some books, do some research and decide what you want to collect before spending big bucks. Get to coins shows as well.

    You can try buying some Whitman coin albums and plug the holes from your pocket change. It's fun, you can learn and it's inexpensive. Enjoy! :)
