Mainly pennies but there are several with quarters, dimes and nickels. They had been rolling these and just cashing them in at the bank(!). We now have a deal where he will bring me all these jars and whatever to go through. I&#039;ll pay him extra for the silver. All he wants for the rest is face value. They also have several envelopes full of older bills. I haven&#039;t got any idea what there is until I see them. He wants just face for those as well because he would just cash them in otherwise.&nbsp; In order to keep him coming back, I told him that if there were any decent collectible coins or bills, I would pay him extra for those. He&#039;s ecstatic with the deal. </p><p><br /></p><p>A lot of the change comes from donations since they&#039;re part of a charitable organization. He said that in the past there were a few containers of silver dollars that were donated but they just took them to the bank. He&#039;s happy that they&#039;ll now be able to get extra value for the coins.</p><p><br /></p><p>Just to jump back a little.... about a week ago, I went to another yard sale where the owner was essentially just giving the furniture away. It belong to his late mother and he had no use for any of the belongings and didn&#039;t have the time to deal with it. I bought about a dozen pieces of furniture (tables, chairs, shelving etc.) for a total of $8. I&#039;ve decided to donate these pieces to my new friend&#039;s organization.</p><p><br /></p><p>Tomorrow he&#039;s going to deliver several containers and the bills to me.
