They broke the mold?? 1999D

    Found this 1999D that appears to have some rather wicked die cracks going end to end right through Mr. Lincoln and if they are cracks, those have got to be the straightest "cracks" i've ever seen. .... while I was at it, the AM looked a little roomy, so I thought I'd ask, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

    I think that looks like an example of linear plating bubbles. @paddyman98 can probably help you with this. ~ Chris

    Copper plated zinc cent..
    I will also say Linear Plating bubble. You will know when it is a Die Crack. Looks more like a scar not smooth like a bubble.

    Those are nice linear plating blisters and they are common on Zinc Cents.
