    Its really amazing the lengths people will go to for a buck :( now a days you
    have to check everything, raw are slabbed. pretty sad...

    It happened 20+ years ago, but it was a domestic fraudster who started his own grading company with fake PCGS slabs. PCGS put them out of business in short order. I heard dealer quip, “I wonder if his grading is more accurate?”
