No Ragrats! Looks great, and a wonderful coin. Plus a fantastic lesson for yourself in life. It is all good.
I do not get greater satisfaction out of one EF coin than out of the 3-4 lesser ones that would cost the same but those who sell coins will point out that the one, better coin will appreciate in value faster. That factor means a lot to some of us but is of zero significance to those of us who have no intention of selling the coins. Every month my 'investment' brokers send notices of how much my stocks might sell for if I sold them but, like the coins, most of them were long haul purchases and will pass to the kid (at adjusted cost basis in the case of stocks). Coins and stocks both have their day traders and their long term holders. Some people care how much their portfolio is 'worth' but the fact remains that you have to sell it to get anything. I like that Trajan. Were it mine, I'd be proud of it but I know I never would have bought it.
I sure hope so, my friend (it's gonna be awkward otherwise) You're kinda funny ... sometimes you make me laugh out loud => c'mon man ... coins rock (you like coins = you rock)
I don't often buy 1st century imperial, but when I do, its usually on impulse (recently took this one out again and realized I've only shown it here like twice in the two years I've had it):
Now, that is a lovely coin! Beautiful patina and a fine portrait in good style. You should be impulsive more often.
That's hilarious! I remember those lyrics from years ago. I thought they came from an episode of South Park.
