If you are going to replace a classic like the White Fiver, at the very least make sure the new note is a classic in of in itself. The Britannia/Lion & Key is one of my personal favourite British banknotes.

That is the last privately issued banknote from Luxembourg, now there are only four places - Scotland, Northern Ireland, Hong Kong and Macau that have banking companies issuing banknotes.

I've been over and under those bridges - they are in Luxembourg Ville.

Luxembourg is still on my bucket list but may have to defer for a few more years.
Several years ago I was ALMOST off to Hong Kong/Macau for a couple of coin shows but just didn't quite get there.
