The chances are that if you've posted here recently, you've probably noticed fewer submissions recently. I originally started this thread to add a little bit of fun to the Paper Money Forum and to have an excuse to scan in my excess pieces of world currency. I'm not exactly keen on reposting notes that I've posted already or that are poorly photographed. This is why I haven't made many submissions to this thread recently. However, once I'm able to scan in the contents of my safe-deposit box, I plan on making more frequent submissions along with any new acquisitions of mine. Regardless, if you'd like to continue to participate, please do so.

 

Bank of Canada $50, 1937. Yes the Bank of Canada insists you put specimen on their copyrighted notes!

 

I don't particularly like posting notes that are poorly photographed. Photo quality notwithstanding 11-year old me was quite overjoyed when I received this as a gift from my grandparents.

I have an accumulation of notes going back many years but don't have that many imaged. I scan most of the new ones before I put them in my binders.

Yours is certainly more appealing @scottishmoney, but I'll treasure mine forever despite its obvious faults.

Edit: My grandparents are the reason I needed a safe-deposit box. You'd be surprised at how often they've gifted me antique paper money.
