That was quite the coincidence, @ewomack. I didn't refresh my page, and I'm quite glad that my next submission kept with the theme.

 

He’s got nerve calling himself the Official C.T. troll sweeper...while he trolls this thread.

The artistry of Alfonse Mucha

 

I didn't know that Mucha designed artwork for currency! I absolutely LOVE Mucha. I visited the Mucha museum and bought lots of prints when I visited Prague in 2014. I also purchased the silver rounds that were made a few years back that featured his designs.

 

Not only did he design early Czech notes, it is his daughter Jaroslava that modelled for the designs:

 

More Mucha - very clearly his "Art Nouveau" style. Don't get me started on Mucha, I have a collection of his artwork, numerous books etc. He is easily one of my favourite artists.
