The 6 arrows on the Seal of the US makes reference to the 6 Indian Nations that provided the concepts for our Great Country!

yea that was an answer i searched for over 3 hours and was not able to find it for the 6 arrows i even went to my old coins apparently none were minted with 6 arrows on them?

 

same here. the only referance i got for the 6 arrows was that the die he copied was very worn. There was a referance to the indians, but NOT in relation to the arrows - at least not in the research i read into.

Thanks RickieB - You put me in good graces with my wife again knowing I got something for all of the research I did this weekend . (it was worth the flack as the topics were good US history lessons! It really was interesting!!! I did more reading today on the subject than I hope my boss ever learns I did !!! I look forward to learning the answer you were specifically looking for. The entire thing made me a little nervous running the searches I did. Feel like I showed up on someones radar :kewl: for "key words" used in internet searches! Hope THEY are not listening

LOL - With my former clearance I'm sure that just added fuel to the fire! Spent 6 years having guys in suits tell me everyone is listening to everything I say. They would just show up every 6 to 12 months and remind us! Clancy reinforced how easy it was to pick up classified info in New London! Got to love a job that requires your grade school teaches to answer questions to agents with badges . Wish I could have been a fly on the wall!!! Someone in a suit shows up to work tomorrow - I'm going out the back door! I'll be hiding at De Orcs in Brazil - looks nice and warm - I work cheep! (silver and old copper is acceptable)

Daggerjohn...LOL Thats funny... Spock and USS656 submitted answers so close to the point I was trying to make. I realized that the theories that they were reading were falling along the same ties as the one I was researching! Goes to show you that there is really never a steadfast answer in anything except mathamatics!

For crying out loud, I will better research this next time!!

give me a red a blue and a green square and ask me to find the green one.. i can do that .. ask me why it feels green ... shoot.. i havent a clue
