So far I've picked up four coins but was the underbidder on five. Some lots are seeing brisk bidding .
I was busy with work and had afterwards an accident as well (luckily i'm fine, no permanent problems), so i'm glad to be back here and I won 2 coins so far
Exactly the same situation here: won four coins, while someone else apparently wanted five others I bid on more strongly than me. Now that this part of the auction is over, may I ask whether you bid on any of the Roman Republican coins? They were my main target.
Looks like I got the lots I was interested in (or perhaps I should say 'was interested in and could afford to bid on'), and the lots I consigned did well. Congrats on another great auction, @Severus Alexander!
YEEEEUUUUS! I won my main mark! Let's see if I can get some travel buddies for him on his travel stateside
I targeted only one coin this time around, but I won it. By my modest standards the coin was expensive. But I got it at a fair price that I hope will please the consignor as much as it pleased me. I’ll probably grab another from the pick bin before the day is through. Very happy with my day. Thanks to SA for all of his hard work to make it happen.
1 out of 3 bids won. Couldn’t go all in budget-wise after other recent purchases but I still managed to get something nice for myself, so I’m satisfied.
I lost my bid. But, I really enjoyed sitting back and watching the auction. It's funny how CT basically shut down for the 2+ hours of the auction lol. Good work all, especially @Severus Alexander! Erin
Final tally for me: 6 coins out of 14 lots bid. Two interesting overstrikes An ex @Justin Lee rarity A Judaean rarity with snake and lion (a Hadrian... how did @Okidoki not take this? ) A notably unusual Alexandrian tetradrachm Two ex @dougsmit coins I didn't watch all of the closings but it looks like AMCC2 was a success. Congrats, @Severus Alexander and consignors!
Very successful day! I had 12 coins consigned in the auction, and all of them sold. I hope that some of them went to other CT members, looking forward to seeing the posts. Congrats on a great auction @Severus Alexander !
