Wow, interesting responses. I am glad to see a toning enthusiast such as Lehigh echo's my thoughts exactly. The Dime actually was not even part of the intial deal. A member from PCGS had posted two simliar toned coins with knockout prices on them. He wanted $300 for this MS68

$300 was book price and I thought the coin was very attractive so I took it and the MS66 he had offered for $45. Well we got to talking and apparently he sent a mini hoar of 1941 dimes with similar toning to PCGS and after he sold me these two he would only have one left. Well me being me I asked if I could see and acquire the last one. He sent a picture and told me $500 Delivers all three. So essentially I paid $165 for the MS67FB. So having the MS68 MS67FB and MS66 all from the same hoard I must say I agree with Paul. not only doe the MS68 have more nicks but I feel it has less to offer overall than the MS67FB. The only conclusion I could come up with is what RLM said. They must have held it back because of the finger print which is not very obvious in hand. A knockout coin for the grade for sure! At at auction setting I cant say I would have went $650 from the photos but in person there is no question I would have!!!:thumb:

Baha is up

PS here is the MS66 for kicks and giggles. ( its the default coin on Coinfacts.)
