Dave hit it on the nose good job. I think it was a strong price at the time but I think I could get a tab bit more in today's market....maybe $500 to $550 on the right day. I do recall reselling the coins shortly after I acquired them for exactly what I paid so they weren't money makers for sure but they were colorful with cool patterns.

It is nice but not spectacular and I would think that due to the low wholesale price of $38 that the premium would be 3-4X wholesale. BST transactions are not usually bargain deals so I will guess $150.

Sorry to be off topic but is this thread like, User posts a picture of a nice toned coin and other user try to guess the price paid or come close? Sorta like guess the grade?

For the Morgan Dollar above, I say $245.

The rules are in the first first post I believe but yes that is the jist of it. Whoever comes closest to guessing the price paid gets to post the next coin and so on......

I'm going to go low at $125 not that I think it's a bad coin, cause I do like it plenty but because I think you got a deal there.

This is another aspect of this thread that I don't think has been brought up before...buying patterns by certain members. Now members are trying to guess what we paid based on how much we have spent on past coins lol priceless :) I think it's a smart strategy but most of the coins I have been posting as of late have been more full retail priced coins and the first few were bargains so I am really tripping you guys up ;)

Magman hit it right on the nose as I paid $250. I think I paid full retail and the coin is quite spectacular with full luster and amazing color that doesn't really come through in the image. This is a coin that back in 2005 at the height of the market I would have expected to pay $400 to $500 dollars for so I was very happy to get it for $250.

Magman is up to bat so post a toner if you would like :)
