    $100 even.

    Pretty coin... but even with nice toning very common as far as I have seen in my toner searches.... kinda like 50's toner cents. In both cases, the cents and the halves, I've seen very very nice toners go down on the 'bay for less than 2x up to 10x+.... I never caught any of the halves, but have a few nice 50's toner cents for less than $10.... as nice as any of the $100+ 50's toners I've seen for sale on the 'bay and other places..... I put these very common and commonly niicely toned tones in the "don't go crazy" bucket.... if you search enough, I think you can pick up a very comparable example for around 2-3x,,, just need to be looking when Shane and Lehigh aren't,, which you stand a good chance to do as they hit the 'bay often.

    26x wholesale: isn't that the highest multiple of wholesale we've seen on this thread yet?

    I've been consistently low on most coins this entire thread.

    You want some high multiples, try these;

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Flawless-1957-L...19?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item359a14868f
    @$1,995.00 57- MS65 RB = $9.00 according to NGC (only red are on PCGS). That is a multiple of 222.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Green-Purple-Wh...96?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3595de302c
    @$395.00 57-D MS65 BN = $3.00 according to NGC. That is a multiple of 132.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Most-Beautiful-...63?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3f00808e37
    @$795.0057-D MS66 RB = $20.00 according to NGC and that seems to me to be way high (only red are on PCGS). That is a multiple of 40.

    i don't think you can use those to guage the high side of multiples.
    1 - i don't think they will sell for that,, those are just asks right ? kinda like saying those coins listed in another thread for 12,000,000 are at multiples of 1,000,000x or more....
    2 - i've seen comparable 50's toners to the last two go for $10 (certified by pcgs) on the 'bay before....
    ..... pie in the sky examples posted by dreamers similar to the 12 million dollar kid in the other thread.....
    that said, I have also see those 50's toners go off in the 125-150 range before,,, which is crazy imo, but I've seen it.

    28x for the half is crazy imo also,, just my opinion.... I just see way too many of these for sale on the 'bay, just or nearly as attractive,, and for 1/10th to 1/5th of that price (which is still a heafty premium).

    No offense, but prove it. I have never seen a Kennedy half with that type of toning. The patina has what I call a liquid look to it and it is spectacular in hand. I want you to show me the E-bay listing with a certified Kennedy that sold for $50 or less with comparable toning. I just checked the Bay and everything I saw was inferior quality toning with asking prices around $100. I promise you that my Kennedy is at the pinnacle of eye appeal for toned examples for the series.
