@Lehigh96 what a beautiful coin, with almost all of the available colors in a gradient. I agree that in today's market it would warrant a bump to at least a + grade and *, and maybe even an MS-67. Since it was purchased in 2007 from eBay, and collector interest in toned Morgans was not as feverish as it is today, I will guess that you picked it up for around $350.

 

The coin that started the thread was very nice but we are currently guessing about the coin shown below.

Sold on 5/20/2022 on eBay for $179

Let's see if we can keep this going.... this toned Eagle was bought online within the last year and sold at an April Central States coin show. What were the buy and sell prices?
(Obverse is blast white but has the auction sticker on it, so I didn't post that photo)

@ddddd is closest…I think. Total difference of $155.

Bought for $185 and sold for $225.

 

I was closer to the sale price but Lehigh was closer to the buy (although we were both quite a bit off-me more so).

It does not look like this thread is seeing much momentum.
