When you are talking about registry quality PCGS Full Step Jefferson War Nickels, the population is not exceedingly large, 73, but big enough that most registry collectors can find one without too much trouble. What sets coins apart at this level is eye appeal and toning. The top registry collectors will seek out the toned coins and pay significant premiums. Additionally, the 43-S is notoriously difficult to find with incredible rainbow toning.

Once the guy backed out of buying my NGC MS68 43-S, my plan was to keep this PCGS MS67FS and sell the NGC MS68. One day, I woke up to find an offer through the Heritage "make an offer" system that would enable me to make over 20% profit on this coin, so of course, I accepted the offer.

Are we pre-guessing the next one it looks like? ;) If so, I better get my number out there before someone takes it. $75!

LOL. No. My parents are out of town and I help them out with their business. I was delivering packaging material for different businesses.

Here's the next coin to guess at. I'm sorry it's a Morgan, but it was quite a beauty. It's an 1881-S MS-65 in a small ANACS holder. Tell me how much I sold it for. The average for an MS-65 1881-S Morgan is currently around $135.00 on eBay.

That was my 1st and original guess.
I knew someone would come over the top of me, and bid 185, so i strategically bid 185 instead. Lets see if my strategy pays off;)
