PCGS Guide is $475. What do you think this Panama Pacific Commem sold for at auction recently?

 

$650, personally I find toning like this to be very ugly, I would never buy that coin.

I don’t think it’s the photo. I’ve seen people complain about GC photos, but in my experiences they are fairly consistent and mostly close to the in hand look. I’ve been disappointed by TruView images much more often than GC images (and the TruView doesn’t suggest the coin looks great either in my opinion).

And please update your guess as Lehigh already picked 650.

It wasn't a large premium over guide, but this one still surprised me as the coin didn't look that appealing. I've seen nicer untoned examples sell for less.
