I will low ball the coin and guess $135. Not all collectors appreciate toning enough to bid higher for a toned coin.

$750. Really nice obverse. Like the color a lot.

$1,050 Because people are overpaying for toned Morgans.

The coin is brighter and more lustrous in hand. (I previously owned it). It previously sold in a 64 holder at Great Collections for $2,600. It subsequently upgraded to MS64+ CAC and sold on eBay about six months ago for $4,200. The closest appears to be @thomas mozzillo. I'll let @ddddd calculate the points.

I recall seeing it sell (in both places), so I didn't guess. It looks like an awesome Morgan and I think the price was in line with where the market is at nowadays.

@thomas mozzillo you're up...or someone else can post if they have a coin ready.

Full obverse toners with strong colors are going for several thousand nowadays. This one sold for strong money, but it's not unheard of lately.

It's funny, that comment would seem to indicate that the toner market is on the uptick, yet all I hear is that toning is a fad, and any day now, the toner market will collapse.

As for that particular coin, any MS64 common date Morgan Dollar selling for more than $1K should come with a ceremonial gold plated shovel.
