Wait, I thought grading standards changed over the years. This coin resides in a PCGS rattler and would might not even grade MS63 if resubmitted.

I have one that I picked up at the PNNA show this last weekend. It's a raw 1884-O you judge the grade as that is what I had to do. What do you think I paid?

I’m seeing this as being one of those on the borderline...either AU 58 or MS 63/64. Either way I like the look and think you got a good deal since it was raw:

Now that I've re read what I wrote it sure came out nasty sounding. Sorry about that.

What I meant to say was that it's a raw pick up and I had to decide if I agreed on the price that was being asked. LOL Which of course I did.

Edited to add, the coin is UNC. even though it appears otherwise in the images. It has the odd coloration that makes it appear AU in the images, but it passes my white paper test with flying colors. Pun intended. LOL

Alright i will stick to my guess but im probably waaaaaaay too low.. Noone post less than $55 you will lose.
