This is another example where most of the value is inherent in the coin and the toning should have little to no effect on the price of the coin. $3,450
Idk if i would go THAT far, but, i agree somewhat. I dont think ive seen a more eye appealing proof Morgan. I would cut off my left...... nvm 5,000 5Gs 5K 5 thou 5 racks 5 bands 5 stacks
$4,000 ...it looks like if they added a picture that showed the colors in a more flattering way, it could have gone higher....as is, I will say a small premium vs guide based on someone guessing that the coin would be much better in hand

Whoo hoo! Ok, this may be tricky. Some of my toned gold I've cherry picked, and paid no premiums for (got them graded myself, etc). Some I've been embarrassed the premium I paid. I will start with this one, a modern, which I bought within hours of it being listed. Being in an OGH was a plus for me as well. Cheapest MS69 I see buy it now is $347. No MS68's are listed. I see most recent MS69 sale was $299.
Will sit this one out as I saw this right after you beat me to it. I'll add that this is the nicest toned Gold Commemorative that I have seen!
Looks like you are going to be the winner! I paid $499 for it. I did have a special ebay bucks promo going on, so I think I got 8-10% cash back, so that helped ease the premium paid.
